Here is the infamous Aske EP with the burnt church on the cover. This EP contains three songs on it, one of which is a re-recording of A Lost Forgotten Sad Spirit from the S/T debut. The first track, Stemmen fra tårnet has a main riff that is nothing short of excellent, which is reminiscent of driving through dense forests at night beneath the full moon.

"Aske" (Ashes) is an EP that lives in infamy within the Norwegian black metal scene. The cover art for this ep specifically shows the remnants of the Fantoft church in Bergen, Norway after Varg Vikernes burned it to the ground. While he was never convicted for this arson there's clear evidence that proves he did set fire to it.

CrimsonFloyd, February 3rd, 2012 Aske (which is Nordic for "ashes") probably has the most iconic album cover in all of black metal. Fantoft Stave Church torched down to its bare frame. The cover is a declaration of war on Christianity; a propaganda tool for the recruitment of new comrades in the war against the foreign faith.
